it works for the sidekick 08!
just make sure u follow the steps right

i have the sidekick08, when i put in the micro sd chip, it turns off after about a min aan jst keeps rebooting after a min in the main screan, i tryed the steps on top an still same problem. i think this is the problem every1 is getting with there sidekicks08
