To be honest, I have no idea. The LCD screens are not so I imagine the flex cables are different.

Can you tell me if the flex cable is the same in the Sidekick 3 and sidekick lx. I have a sidekick 3 laying around for parts.

how can i fix my sidekick 2008? Its real slow and i did the hard reset and cleaned it and other things. any one got any tips

You do need to remove the LCD to do this repair. Sorry, I forgot to put that in the procedure. Its only 2 screws that you need to remove. I will fix this and get the new procedure up soon.
