Mine it seems like the flex cable is out cause the backlight works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt

Changing the settings does nothing. lol. -.-

Korey, sorry you keep reading the same thing. Does it come on at all if you turn it on in the settings? The ambient sensor for the backlight is in the lcd so that may be causing that issue. I can not tell you for sure. I never personally had one with the backlight on the keys out. YOu can take a look at the forums at http://www.poweredbydanger.com/

Okay,
I keep reading the same stuff.
“If the back light is out, its time for a new LCD,” yada yada ya.

The back light on my keypad is also out, will replacing the LCD fix that as well, or do i need to buy a new phone?

If the sidekick Backlight will not come on after checking the settings then it is time for a new LCD assembly. See the bottom of the post above for where to buy and how to replace.
