These instructions worked very well and were very detailed. Thank you very much for your help. People who put this down are just upset cause there to stupid to figure it out or mad cause there screen is broke. Thanks again and great job!!!

Jean, did you get this procedure to work on your Sidekick 2008? Mine isn't blank, it's actually got a lightning bolt down the middle of the screen with one half with messed up color and the other half black. Thanks

I have the white screen issue on my sidekick3 and replaced the whole flip screen but still the same result: A perfectly working phone with a white screen so the interface is blind. It will light up but not display…Any help or ideas? Thx!

on one of the photos there were like black spots or streaks on the lcd. mine has a big circular spot and the screen is white. will this work?

It might. The basic procedure is the same. Take it apart and reseat the connector.

Can this work on a sidekick 2008 that has the screen blank. You can hear evrything make phone calls etc. Can it be done?

I tried to tighten the flex strip and that made the screen not show up at all. does this mean that the flex strip needs to be loosened
